ZN Services Inc. is committed to a strong safety program that protects its staff, our property, the customer and the public from work place accidents. Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives.
Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, and in every job is necessary for the safety excellence the company expects. We support coordination of safety among all workers on the job site. We also require participation in the program by all employees and provide proper equipment, training and procedures. Employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely and where possible improving safety measures.An injury and accident free workplace is our goal and commitment. Only through a continuous safety and loss control effort can we accomplish this.

ZN Services Safety Management Committee is certified to complete training in WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) and Flag person Operations. There are numerous other safety programs in place adhered to by ZN Services staff. These include certification for Confined Space Entry, Trenching and Excavation and H2S Alive. We also have a program established to train employees in Hoisting and Rigging.
ZN Services has a complete safety manual setting out all safety procedures and all of the relevant Safe Work Procedures. Our manuals and health and safety program conform in all respects to the requirements of the Alberta Construction Safety Association.
ZN Services, with its partner in Health and Safety, the Alberta Construction safety Association maintains up to date Certificate of Recognitions.
Environment
At ZN Services we are aware of the importance we must place on completing a job with as little impact on the environment as possible. The ZN Services field teams are knowledgeable of and are skilled in the practice of environmental protection. Specialized skills including environmental reclamation after the completion of a project, soil protection of grassland, cultivated land, and forested white and green areas. A fundamental requirement of the management team at ZN Services is to ensure that our employees are eductaed and trained in clean-up procedures, as a facet of completion on any project. Some of the particular areas or environmental protection ZN Services is skilled in conventional oil and gas well site reclamation, conservation, and reclamation code practices. Adhering to and surpassing the rules and guidelines set out by each municipality or governing agency, ZN Services, employees use layered excavating procedures, seeding, and proper compaction techniques in needed areas. Although some agencies and communities do not have guidelines set out regarding environmental cleanup, ZN Services believes it is essential to leave a project area as it was; and as a result, always use proper reclamation procedures.
